Mentors
BOLD: Black and Brown Opportunity, Leadership and Development Academy needs adult women to volunteer to mentor a Columbia Public School student! Our adult volunteers will be paired with a female student between the ages of 12-17 and will meet (make contact) 2-3 times per month, which will include our monthly BOLD Connections. Training, ongoing resources, and continued support from the BOLD Advisory board make it easy and rewarding to be a BOLD Mentor. Volunteers are asked to make a 1-year commitment to establish a relationship that bridges the students' transition to the next year’s academy. Join the BOLD Team and help a young lady develop the skills necessary have a better and brighter future.
